Brigham City Water Reclamation Facility Upgrade Project $2.6 Million Brigham City Corporation
The work consisted of upgrades to the existing headworks building and installing headworks screens and wash presses, construction of a new final clarifier, expansion of the existing digester control building, and installation of new dewatering equipment. The work also included construction of a new UV disinfection building, installation of a new UV disinfection system, RAS, WAS, and intermediate pumps
200 S Reservoir and Pump Station Project $2.5 Million Davis and Weber Canal Company
Construction of a thirteen acre-foot secondary water reservoir, pump station, and meter vault. Work included a reservoir inlet structure with canal diversion, reservoir excavation, liner installation, and placement of thirty-seven hundred tons of rip-rap. The pump station consisted of (six) two hundred fifty horse power vertical turbine pumps rated at 2250 gallons per minute. The pumps discharged to a thirty-six inch welded steel manifold and a thirty-six inch ductile iron feed to the existing system. Installed pump capacity was 19.4 MGD
Taylor-West Weber Irrigation Reservoir and Pumphouse Project $3.2 Million Hooper Irrigation Co.
Construction of a new thirty-four acre-foot lined reservoir and associated multi-pump six hundred horse power pump house. Included extensive dewatering, canal crossing, and access road.
Far West Pump Station Project $2.2 Million Central Weber Sewer Improvement District
Construction of a new thirty foot deep cast-in-place sewer lift station. Wet well construction was sheet piled and excavated in high groundwater, extensive dewatering was needed. The project also included installation of over one thousand feet of twenty-four inch PVC and thirty inch RCP gravity sewer at depths of twenty feet. The pumps installed were Flygt submersibles with (three) seventy horse power pumps rates at 3475 gallons per minute. The building also included provisions for a future fourth pump. Installed pump station capacity was 15 MGD.
